HOW TO GET THERE

From the rest of Europe by car, train or ferry.

AUTOROUTES

When you arrive in France, the French Autoroutes (toll roads) will take you right up to the borders of Brittany, from then on, the autoroutes cease to exist, they are replaced by route nationals, as good as the autoroutes, except you don't have to pay- they are all FREE!
Garages or Station Service are open throughout the day but take care as many garages which are marked 24/24 (open 24 hours) are not normally manned at night and only accept credit cards, even worse, they don't accept all credit cards so fill up while you can.
The price of petrol (essence) at present is around 0.90 Euros per litre for super, slightly less for unleaded (sans plomb). Diesel (gazole) is around 0.80 Euros per litre.
