Quimper, Benodet & Concarneau with golden sandy beaches. Bed &
Breakfast for up to 4 people in 2 double rooms. Breakfast is
included in the price. The house is situated in a quiet residential
area of this small town. There are numerous beaches and sites of
interest within easy reach of the house.
3km; the nearest beach,
5km; Moustelin with large beaches of fine sand,
10km; Concarneau which is a large fishing port and has the most
visited walled town in France,
12km; Benodet which is a famous seaside resort,
15km; Quimper which is one of the most beautiful towns in France,
20km; Pont Aven which is famous as the town of the painters. Gaugin
lived here for some time and with his followers created the Pont aven School.
Fouesnant is situated in the part of Finistere known as Cornwall; a
region which is famous for its regard to tradition.The countryside is
rich in tradition as witnessed by the wide range of cultural events,
exhibitions, museums, festivals, pardons, concerts and of course the
Fest Noz where there is always a friendly ambience and a genuinely
hospitable welcome.
Venturing into the surrounding countryside there is a rich
architectural heritage to discover and wonderful sites by the sea,
the rivers and the Iles Glinan. There are a wide range of watersports
available for the visitor to try in the area. Throughout the year a
wide choice of introductory courses are organised for painting,
Breton dancing & etc.

& countless hidden inlets. A wide variety of water based
activities are available (windsurfing, yachting, catamaraning,
canoeing & diving) Traditional festivities provide the
opportunities for large get together & the continuation of
authentically Breton traditions. Summer is music festival time, with
around 20 free open air concerts for every type of music. |
