The idyllic stone house is south facing & set in an acre of mature gardens including rhododendrons & azaleas. 1½ hours drive from the ferry ports of Roscoff & St Malo & the airports of Brest & Dinard which have daily Ryanair flights. Accommodation available: 1 double room with en suite facilities. 1 family suite consisting of 1 double & 1 twin bedded room with shower room & W.C. All rooms have central heating. B&B accommodation available all year round. Evening meals available on request.

AREA St Nicolas du Pelem is situated within easy reach of La du Guerledan, the largest lake in Brittany with beaches & watersport facilities. Close by is the abbey Bon Repos situated on the side of the Nantes - Brest canal; this picturesque spot makes a delightful picnic stop & on Sunday mornings has a small produce market which is well worth a visit. 5 minutes walk from the house is an open air swimming pool, which is very popular between June & September. St Nicolas provides an interesting walking area with a linked network of footpaths leading to lakes crosses & menhirs. The syndicat d'Initiative in the village proves plenty of information on places to visit in the area & in Brittany as a whole.
